THIS WEEKEND: Library Open House, Lecture, & Drop-In Art Making! At Albany Institute of History & Art

DROP-IN ART MAKING Saturday, February 11 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Art Studio
Enjoy your visit to the museum, and explore your artistic side with a coloring and pop-up diorama activity inspired by collection items and early Black history in Albany. The activity, using early paintings of Albany by James Eights, explores the depiction of Black women included in these scenes and pulls from historic records to educate about influential Black women of that time, including Dinah Jackson.
Included with admission!
