| The 25th Annual High School Regional Juried Exhibition March 12 – April 13 |
| Visual art, crucial in developing critical thinking skills and visual literacy, is essential to a well-rounded education. The annual High School Regional exhibition celebrates the importance of art by showcasing the best artwork from the New York Capital Region’s high school students. This year, 28 districts or schools submitted almost 600 artworks with 103 works by 99 artists ultimately selected by a panel of local artists/educators: Nuveen Barwari, Tara Fracalossi, and Leah Rico. Opalka Gallery is proud to collaborate with the educators of the New York State Art Teachers Association, Region 6, and the Capital Area Art Supervisors on this 25th anniversary year of the annual exhibition.
